Celebrated on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, Giving Tuesday is a global day of generosity that brings people together to create change and make a difference in their communities. This year, We Care Tucson invites you to be part of something extraordinary—empowering youth, strengthening families, and building a more connected Tucson.
Your gift this Giving Tuesday supports We Care Tucson’s expanding Youth Initiative Programs, which bridge the digital divide and equip underserved youth with the tools, skills, and confidence they need to thrive in a technology-driven world. Through free and low-cost STEM programs, computer access, and hands-on learning, your generosity helps spark curiosity and ignite potential.
Our programs have grown tremendously this year!
From the success of our Youth Tech Camps and School Day Out Tech/Robotics programs—where students learn to build and repair computers—to the introduction of Tech Trek, our new four-week High School Tech & Leadership Camp, we are opening pathways to education and career exploration in technology. Students visit local tech companies, engage in real-world projects, and even earn certifications to prepare them for future opportunities.
We also launched our Workforce Development Program, creating a bridge from learning to earning. This initiative provides young adults with hands-on technical training, digital literacy, and job readiness skills, helping them enter the workforce with confidence and purpose.
Beyond youth programs, We Care Tucson continues to provide low-cost laptops through our Student Tech Connection, free community computer and mobile classes, and affordable repair services through our We Care Repair program—ensuring that no one is left behind in today’s digital age.
