Meet The Staff
MeMe Aguila has served as Executive Director of We Care Tucson since August 2022, bringing with her over 25 years of experience in nonprofit development, fundraising, and community engagement. Since joining WCT, she has significantly elevated the organization’s visibility and impact, expanding its mission-driven services to reach more individuals and families throughout Southern Arizona.
Coleman graduated from the University of Arizona with a passion for repairing and saving old technology. He is a Tucson native with previous experience in math education and data-based political organization. While he has taken technical classes, he credits early experiences building gaming PCs for his current IT skills. In addition, he instructs volunteers in computer repair. With his background, he was a natural to oversee Technology and E-Recycling.
Waylon is an Army veteran and an ITT graduate, so naturally, his passions encompass anything that carries electricity. At a young age, he took apart just about everything. As Waylon grew up, he figured out how to put the stuff back together. Waylon began at We Care Tucson a year ago as the marketing manager. With his great customer service skills and background, he is now the Store Manager, assisting customers with their needs in both medical and technological needs.
Colleen is our Store Manager. She is an IT student at Pima Community College enrolled in the Cyber Security program. She started volunteering with We Care Tucson in August of 2022 and volunteering to gain hands-on experience working with electronics and to deepen her knowledge. She joined the team in late December, bringing great enthusiasm and energy to her job. Colleen is working in the store helping customers.
Luis Barcenas Carreon
Workforce Development Coordinator & We Care Repair Coordinator
Luis joined We Care Tucson as an intern, where he gained hands-on experience in electronics. His passion for technology started early, leading him to pursue an IT Support Technician certificate at Pima Community College. Alongside his work, Luis enjoys photography and drawing on his iPad, combining his artistic side with his technical skills. He takes pride in helping customers with their computer issues at the store, finding fulfillment in both repairs and customer interactions.
Ashley Collins

A Tucson native and proud mom with a passion for helping others.
Ashley has a trade degree in commercial beverage production with a unique career background including veterinary technology and animal care, adult education, sales, hospitality, and lots and lots of administrative and management experience.
Teigan Tinsley
Store Manager
Elena Macias is currently in an Environmental Sciences transfer program with the University of Arizona and is passionate about conservation, wildlife, and sustainable solutions. She enjoys art, music, and exploring the natural world. As an educator, Elena hopes to inspire the next generation by sharing her knowledge, encouraging curiosity, and helping young learners discover the joy of learning.

Luke is originally from the state of New York. He previously worked as a licensed unarmed and armed security guard and as a direct support professional caregiver. As a proud father, Luke has a passion for helping others and learning new skills. He hopes to pursue a career in IT and robotics engineering, with the goal of helping change people’s lives. He is motivated by a strong drive for success and a desire to make a positive difference.
